Part 2 独立陈述（Long Turn）

• 时长： 3–4分钟（含1分钟准备时间）

• 流程：
1. 考官会给你一张话题卡（Cue Card），上面列出要点。
2. 你有1分钟准备时间，可使用纸笔做笔记。
3. 然后你需连续说2分钟，考官在时间到时会打断你。
4. 最后可能会问1–2个与主题相关的简短问题。

💡 答题技巧：

• 利用一分钟准备时间写下关键点（如关键词、顺序、例子）

• 用笔记记录关键词，不要写完整句子。

• 在陈述中用 “First / Next / Finally” 或 “On one hand / On the other hand” 等连接词来梳理思路

• 若卡壳，可使用填充语（That’s an interesting question... / Let me think for a moment...）。

• 若时间快到，可用一句 “In conclusion…” 或 “To sum up…” 做简短总结

• 被打断或没说满 1–2 分钟时，也不用慌张，可简要延伸某一点或回答考官追问

Part 3 深入讨论（Discussion）

• 时长： 4–5分钟

• 内容： 考官会根据Part 2的话题，引申出更抽象或社会性的问题。

💡 答题技巧：

• 采用观点 + 解释 + 例子 (Point–Explain–Example, PEE) 的结构进行回答

• 回答时要尽量展开（不要只说一两句就停），但也要注意不要偏题

Children are particularly vulnerable because they may not be able to distinguish between persuasion and reality, while parents often feel pressured to meet their children’s expectations, especially when advertisements appeal to emotions or social status.

2. What do parents often persuade their children to do?

Parents commonly persuade their children to focus on education, develop good habits, and make responsible decisions. This often includes encouraging them to study hard, limit screen time, or choose activities that contribute to long-term personal development.

3. What are the good ways to persuade children?
我的答案
The most effective way is to communicate calmly and lead by example. When adults explain their reasons clearly and respect children’s feelings, children are more likely to accept advice rather than resist it.

4. Who do children listen to more, their parents or their teachers? Why?
我的答案
It largely depends on the situation. Parents tend to have more emotional influence, while teachers often carry more authority in academic matters. Ideally, when both send consistent messages, children benefit the most.

5. What advice should young people follow?
我的答案
Young people should follow advice that encourages critical thinking, independence, and ethical behaviour. Rather than blindly accepting opinions, they should learn to evaluate advice carefully and adapt it to their own circumstances.
