Part 2 独立陈述（Long Turn）

• 时长： 3–4分钟（含1分钟准备时间）

• 流程：
1. 考官会给你一张话题卡（Cue Card），上面列出要点。
2. 你有1分钟准备时间，可使用纸笔做笔记。
3. 然后你需连续说2分钟，考官在时间到时会打断你。
4. 最后可能会问1–2个与主题相关的简短问题。

💡 答题技巧：

• 利用一分钟准备时间写下关键点（如关键词、顺序、例子）

• 用笔记记录关键词，不要写完整句子。

• 在陈述中用 “First / Next / Finally” 或 “On one hand / On the other hand” 等连接词来梳理思路

• 若卡壳，可使用填充语（That’s an interesting question... / Let me think for a moment...）。

• 若时间快到，可用一句 “In conclusion…” 或 “To sum up…” 做简短总结

• 被打断或没说满 1–2 分钟时，也不用慌张，可简要延伸某一点或回答考官追问

Part 3 深入讨论（Discussion）

• 时长： 4–5分钟

• 内容： 考官会根据Part 2的话题，引申出更抽象或社会性的问题。

💡 答题技巧：

• 采用观点 + 解释 + 例子 (Point–Explain–Example, PEE) 的结构进行回答

• 回答时要尽量展开（不要只说一两句就停），但也要注意不要偏题

1. What are the advantages and disadvantages of water transport?

One major advantage of water transport is its cost efficiency, especially for transporting large quantities of goods over long distances. It’s also more environmentally friendly compared to air transport, as it generally produces lower carbon emissions.

In my country, water sports like swimming and kayaking are quite popular, mainly because they’re accessible and suitable for people of all ages. In coastal areas, activities such as surfing and scuba diving have also gained popularity in recent years, particularly among younger people who are interested in outdoor and adventure sports.

3. Do you think schools should teach children how to swim?
我的答案
Yes, I believe swimming should be taught in schools, but the focus should be on safety rather than competition. Swimming is a life-saving skill, especially in a country where rivers, lakes or coastal areas are common.
That said, lessons should be designed to suit different ability levels, so that children feel encouraged rather than pressured. When taught properly, swimming can improve both physical health and self-confidence.

4. Are there many people in your country often go diving?

Not really. While diving has become more popular in recent years, it’s still a niche activity. This is mainly because it requires specialised training, equipment and access to suitable diving locations. As a result, most people only try it occasionally, usually while travelling, rather than as a regular hobby.
