When I was a child, I used to enjoy simple treats like potato chips and jelly, although my mum rarely allowed me to have jelly because she believed it wasn’t very healthy. I still remember she would always encourage me to eat fruits instead, which probably helped me develop healthier eating habits early on.

我的答案
现在不怎么吃零食,可能是从小养成的习惯。我妈妈从小就不让我吃太多零食,说是不利于健康。
I don’t really snack much these days, which I think is partly due to habits I developed as a child when my mum discouraged me from eating too many treats. Occasionally, I might indulge in something sweet, but generally I prefer balanced meals and healthier options.

- moderation noun /ˌmɑːdəˈreɪʃn/ [uncountable] the quality of being reasonable and not being extreme 适度;适中;合理

我的答案
I think it’s fine to enjoy snacks in moderation, as long as you don’t overdo it, because occasional treats can be part of a balanced diet and won’t have a negative impact on health.
