我的答案
No, I don’t really wear jewellery at all.
I did have a piece of jade my dad bought for me when I was little, but my school didn’t allow students to wear accessories, so I simply never developed the habit.
Now it just feels more comfortable not wearing anything.
it形式主语用法
但这个主语太长了，直接放在句首会很怪，也不符合英语的自然表达方式。
因此英语里常用 It + 形容词 + to/ing… 的结构，把真正的主语放到句子后面，让句子变得更自然。

If I were to choose, I tend to like pieces with a clean, understated design.
I’m not into anything overly shiny or extravagant; something simple and well-crafted is much more my style.
It feels easier to pair with different outfits and doesn’t draw unnecessary attention.

No, I rarely buy jewellery myself.
I feel it’s quite a discretionary purchase, so I’d rather save up for something meaningful and perhaps buy a piece as a gift to myself when I reach a milestone.
That way it carries more sentimental value.
Sentimental value refers to the emotional significance or worth that an individual assigns to an object, artifact, or place, based on personal associations rather than its intrinsic monetary value. It is the value of an article in terms of its sentimental associations for a particular person.
区分rarely和barely
不可以直接互换——rarely ≠ barely，意思和语气都差很多。
我给你一句话一句话对比一下：
